Hi,
Thanks for mentioning foldera.
Re your comment:
“doesn’t look like there’s a way to set up a database with custom data”
For the momment, we don’t have a custom database app, but if we get a lot of requests for one, then we can easily build the it.
Lets stay in touch-and thanks again for the post, I really appreciate the feedback.
Best,
Richard

Hi Richard,
I’m always suprised when someone comments on a link archive post!
Foldera does look interesting. I am approaching it from a particular needs perspective… I have a friend who’s trying to organize her small business online. She needs document storage, email organization, a way to track and collaborate on documents and projects, todo lists and other typical project management type things but she also needs a custom database app. There are some data she needs to handle that should be encompassed in entities for reuse and has relationships, which just can’t be handled by general purpose type applicatons. I haven’t found a service that offers all the project managment/collaboration tools but also a way to hook in a custom database app yet.
In any case, Foldera sounds like it will be pretty innovative, maybe even disruptive as far as giving users a new way to think about and organize their data. I’d love to try it out to see what it’s all about.
