Interesting service: Assigns phone numbers to people to contact you if they know your email address. You don’t have to give out your real phone number. If you don’t want to talk, you can block that person’s number from reaching you. And its free.

A novel idea, sort of. Create your own private messaging service that you can limit membership to. I would feel a lot more comfortable trying it out if the site didn’t look so unprofessional in FireFox (ok in IE).

My new favorite toy! A service that lets you communicate with web APIs via IM. Post to sites such as Twitter, Del.icio.us Tumblr, Wordpress blogs and more through your IM client. Create your own widgets (bots) to connect to your other favorite services

Interesting concept. These guys set up an email service that will send posts to Twitter, Jaiku and Wordpress. You can use your email account with Jott.com and therefore “call in posts” to those services. Nifty!
